Jordan Design Studio provides interior design services for the hospitality, commercial and residential sectors. Founded by experienced interior designer Sophie Jordan, we strive to exceed our clients’ expectations by delivering engaging and expressive designs that truly resonate.
Every one of our bespoke designs are, customised to the individual objectives and site-specific needs of each client. At Jordan Design Studio, we utilise an integrated and solutions-focused approach and are committed to delivering our services within each project’s programme and budget parameters. We revel in the design journey, from conceptualising through to perfecting the finer details.
We create spaces in which memories are made. We strongly believe that the purpose of life is to enjoy it and by crafting optimistic environments, we can enrich people’s lives. Whether it’s a forever family home, or a lively restaurant for friends to gather in, we are passionate about carefully curating spaces which foster fond memories.
Sophie’s design journey began in the UK, where she earned her degree in Architecture at the University of Nottingham. Following her passion, she began working for a interior design studio in London before relocating to Australia. During her time working for several acclaimed practices, Sophie’s projects across Sydney and London have been crowned winners at the globally recognised Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
An entrepreneurial focus drove Sophie to establish Jordan Design Studio in March 2020. Rather than adopt a signature house style, she places significant value on the end user, ensuring that her clients’ expectations and aspirations are delivered.
At Jordan Design Studio, we are driven by the belief that great design shapes how people engage within an environment.
With sensitivity towards the architecture and location of the building, we embark on a bespoke design narrative to provide cohesive design solutions which are aligned with the client’s requirements. Right from the initial brief through to the finalised project, we leverage the advantages of research and play with experimentation. The mood of each project emerges through abstract concepts which evolve into considered palettes of materials and colours. From this, the finalised design emerges.
